WHAT ARE GW28GS- SERIES CHANGEOVER SWITCHES ?

GW28GS series padlock type power switch is a derivative of TW26 series universal switches. It is mainly used as a power cutout switch that is required to be padlocked in the machine tool, and can be padlocked in the OFF position (i.e. “0” or “off” bit) and the ON position (i.e. “1” or “on”), so as to prevent miss operation and control the operation of unauthorized personnel. Besides, this product meets the required standards: GB14048.5-2001, IEC60947-3.

NORMAL WORKING CONDITIONS

• The ambient air temperature : ≤ +40℃

      The average temperature within 24 hours ：≤ +35℃

• The lower limit of ambient air temperature : ≥ -25℃
• The altitude of the installation site : ≤ 2000m
• When the highest temperature reaches +40℃, the relative air humidity shouldn’t be more than 50%. Higher relative humidity is allowed in the relatively lower temperature, such as 90% humidity in 20℃. Special measures should be taken to deal with the condensation occasionally caused by the temperature change.

PRODUCT CLASSIFICATION

The specifications of padlock type switches are 20A, 25A, 32A, 63A and 125A five current levels. Among them, 20A and 25A specifications have M1 and M2 two padlock specifications, while 32A and 63A have M2 and M3 two padlock panel specifications. M1 specification padlock panel switch can use 2 padlocks, but M2 and M3 specification padlock panel switch can use 3 padlocks.

The padlock type switches are divided into ordinary type and emergency stop type according to its use:

• The ordinary type (TW26GS-/□03) has a black panel and a black handle
• The emergency stop type (TW26GS-/□04) is an emergency stop sign, that is, has a yellow panel and a red handle.
